Bemis' Research & Development team has created SkinTite™ - an exciting and very distinctive skin films system aimed at the retail market for both thermoforming and tray sealing applications which allows your product to shape the final pack presentation.

Bemis' SkinTite™ system offers increased shelf-life, exceptional pack security, convenience and striking product appearance. Superb product draping or "second skin effect" enhances presentation and fixes products securely in position to prevent drip-loss and movement during transportation and at retail display.

For thermoforming applications, the system includes a top and bottom film engineered for optimum performance - perfect sealability and peelability with excellent puncture resistance for enhanced pack security.

For tray sealing applications, SkinTite™ is so versatile that seals directly to a wide range of tray materials to present a complete system solution for fresh and marinated meat products, frozen microwavable, dual-ovenable and case-ready products.

Bemis' SkinTite™ system ensures products are neatly contoured, like a second skin, for a totally natural look, without the use of excessive packaging. Extraordinary puncture resistance minimizes on-line and transport leakers while high barrier Vacuum Skin Packaging increases product shelf-life over conventional MAP packages.

With a full range of products for low and high profile applications, Bemis has a solution for every application, including frozen products with sharp edges, packages with uneven surfaces and high profile products.
